If you are discovering Dark Sides' catalogue for the first time, please read carefully these terms and conditions of sale. They have been issued in such a way that you can make your choice, and place your order, easily and safely. Do not hesitate to inform us of any modification that could be useful to you.

RECORD CONDITION - GRADING: the records are listened to before being graded.

All our records are complete with their inner sleeves and inserts and are in MINT or EXCELLENT condition, unless otherwise specified (the cover is graded first, and then the record).

  • M means that it is a perfect copy (in mint condition). M- means almost perfect.
  • EX means that the condition is excellent: there is minor surface noise between the tracks and possibly at times on the music, sometimes because the pressing is not perfect, or the cover is slightly worn or damaged (for instance a small tear or some writing on back cover). A really nice record!
  • VG means very good, more (+) or less (-): there is more serious surface noise on part of the record (scratch) or a constant minor surface noise, or the cover is more worn or damaged (for instance a tear or some writing on front cover).
  • G means good: the record plays but is nearly worn out or the cover has serious damages.

We are very strict with our grading system. In our opinion, most of the used records must be graded EX, even if they look M or M- and, especially for the old records, if they have only been played a few times. We think our records in VG+ minimum condition will give you complete satisfaction. Of course, a VG copy and even more a G copy is impaired by some noises which prevent from a comfortable listening but they do not skip.
